Construction has begun in Sunnyvale, on a Google office building that would total 182,500 square feet.

The F3TT products being used on this project are the BRGN PL81, BRGN PL82 and the CRUX BKT1.

The BRGN PL81, our original version, is being used to hoist all CLT panels (max weight of over 11,000lbs) from truck deck into place. Our system boasts high capacity and fast cycle times.

The BRGN PL82, a modified version of the original, is being used to hoist all glulam columns into place. The plate fits inside the beam pocket at the top of column and is fastened to the inside faces of the glulam.

The CRUX BKT1s are fastened to the corners of all columns and bracing connected to them. For columns 16 ft or shorter a 4×4 brace with turnbuckle is used in two directions. For the 30 ft columns, wire rope and turnbuckles in four directions are connected to anchor plates on the CLT deck are using for bracing. Also, due to an incomplete lateral system being tied into the CLT deck until our frame is built to the roof, our CRUX BKT1 system is being used to create temporary brace bays that give enough lateral stability for the installation crew to use the required access equipment they need to complete the work. The temporary brace bays are connected to the columns, both top and bottom, and are kept off the CLT deck so that reinforcement and concrete can be placed without interference.
