Construction is underway in Pemberton, BC, on École La Vallée, a 43,000 sq ft francophone school that will transform education for the community’s French-language students. This hybrid mass timber facility will serve CSF (School District 93) with 220 student seats, expandable to 370 seats to accommodate future growth.
F3 Timber Tech supplied Schmid Schrauben screws for the entire project. See our current available inventory at our online store!
Schmid Schrauben fasteners provided reliable, high-performance connections throughout the mass timber structure. These fasteners are engineered for demanding timber-to-timber and timber-to-steel applications, delivering the structural integrity required for educational facilities where safety and longevity are paramount.
The project features hybrid mass timber construction aligned with BC’s CleanBC emissions-reduction goals and the Province’s Mass Timber Action Plan. Designed by Principle Architecture and Local Practice Architecture + Design, the two-storey facility includes modern learning spaces, a gymnasium, basketball court, soccer field, and French-language childcare services.
