Esquimalt Town Square is a new condo development by Aragon Properties Ltd in Victoria, BC.

​CRUX Brackets and cables used horizontally to create a temporary diaphragm, anchored to the concrete core, enabling the installation crew to raise the glulam frame to L4 before any decks were installed. This method was used to maintain ongoing work for all trades.

The floor system used was a q-deck and concrete composite. The frame was raised on one half of the building first so that the L4 floor could be placed while the timber crew raised the second half of the building to L4. Once L4 frame was fully raised the timber installer moved back to the first half of the building and continued raising the frame to the roof. The remainder of L4 deck was complete by the time the timber installer was ready to move to the second half of the building and complete the frame.
