The Malahat Skywalk is an accessible 600m elevated wooden pathway and treetop walk through an arbutus forest.

The approximately $15-million project included 40 meter columns which required a strong, precise and simple to install connection at the base. Our Glued Rod Imbeds were used to quickly and accurately place the glued in threaded rods into the bottoms of the columns.

The steel base plates were pre-installed on the foundations to ensure their accuracy in elevation and orientation. The columns were then dropped onto the base plates and secured with nuts and washers.
